Im zweiten Teil des Artikels geht es um konkrete Fehlerquellen und L?sungsans?tze zum ?Clanbetrieb?. Wenn wir uns einmal kurz, der Modellhaftigkeit & Vergleichbarkeit wegen, einer Hobbie-Fu?ballmannschaft zuwenden, k?nnen wir anhand dessen einiges in Bezug auf Clans schlussfolgern.


Ich will nicht, weil ihr alle doof seid
Hobbie m??ig kickt man das runde Leder, weil man schlichtweg Spa? daran hat ? und weil das GEMEINSAME daran so nett ist. Und man tut dies wiederholt, weil auch das davor und danach mit den Kumpeln Spa? macht.
Man kommt wieder, weil man ansonsten telefonisch oder im direkten Kontakt erkl?ren muss, warum man denn nicht da war. Wobei es wenig Gr?nde gibt, nicht wiederzukommen, weil die Kommunikation ganzheitlich stattfindet, n?mlich verbal, mit Gestik und mit K?rpersprache. Und sie findet in Echtzeit statt. Da kann man direkt nachfragen und Missverst?ndnisse kl?ren.

All dies sollte man sich bewusst machen, weil es entscheidende Bedeutung f?r neugegr?ndete Clans hat. Denn der einzige gemeinsame Faktor bei einem Clan ist am Anfang der Spa? am Spiel und der Wunsch nach gemeinsamen spielen.
Es gibt keine Verbindlichkeit, man kennt sich nur virtuell, alle Kontaktaufnahmen via Mail, IRC etc. kann man wunderbar ignorieren. Geld oder andere Belohnungen gibt es auch nicht ? also bleibt man nur, wenn man sich wohlf?hlt.

All dies scheint aber ein gro?er Teil der Clanleader komplett au?er acht zu lassen. Wenn man dann noch bedenkt, dass die Kommunikation via Forum oder Email stark eingeschr?nkt ist und sehr schnell zu Missverst?ndnissen f?hrt ? dann muss man sich ?ber die geringe ?Haltbarkeit? von neuen Clans nicht wundern (es gibt f?r die soziale Interaktion einen sch?nen Merksatz: Wahr ist nicht, was ich sage, sondern das, was beim Gegen?ber ankommt). Denn da reicht eine falsch verstandene Mail und der Clankollege erscheint nie wieder.
Wenn also der Clan l?nger als ein paar Wochen halten soll, gilt es tunlichst einige ?Basics? zu beachten.

Meine H?hle soll wieder voll werden
Auch wenn ich immer im Singular von Clanleader spreche, gelten die ?berlegungen nat?rlich auch f?r Clans mit einer ?erweiterten? F?hrung. Was sich der Clanleader also immer wieder in Erinnerung rufen sollte: ALLE sind freiwillig dabei und dies nur aus Selbstmotivation. Und sie sind als ClanMITGLIEDER dabei, weil sie keine besondere Lust auf die Aufgaben und Verantwortung der Clanleitung hatten ? sonst h?tten sie ja selber einen gegr?ndet.

Kommen wir also in unserer Betrachtung erst einmal zu den Dingen, die ein Clanleader NICHT k?nnen muss:

- er muss nicht der beste Spieler und Taktiker sein
- er muss nicht die besten Stats haben
- er muss nicht jede Map bis in den letzten Winkel kennen
- er muss nicht der beste HTML-Coder sein
- er muss nicht besser als Spiegel-Redakteure schreiben

Denn daf?r ist man ein Team. Skill und gemeinsame Taktiken erarbeitet man sich durch gemeinsames spielen und ?ben, dito die Map-Kenntnisse.

Was der Clanleader k?nnen muss, sind eher ?social skills? und F?hrungstechniken:

- er muss geduldig sein
- er muss freundlich sein
- er muss zuh?ren
- er muss klar und stringent sein
- er muss loben
- er muss motivieren
- er muss moderieren
- er muss delegieren
- er muss Ressourcen verteilen und verwalten
- er muss verantwortlich sein
- er muss Entscheidungen treffen

All das sind nat?rlich Idealvorstellungen. Aber man sollte sich bewusst machen, dass ohne diese F?higkeiten ein neugegr?ndeter Clan wahrscheinlich nicht ?lter als ein Vierteljahr wird. Denn dies sind schlichtweg die Basics, um all die freiwilligen Mitglieder bei der Stange zu halten und zu motivieren. Gerade in der Anfangsphase gibt es noch keine gro?e Gemeinsamkeit, kein Miteinander ?ber den n?chsten FW/CW hinaus.
Ein Clan ist wie Legosteine: da muss eins zum anderen passen und alles baut aufeinander auf. Um die Sache jedoch noch komplizierter zu machen: ein guter Clanleader und Mitglieder reichen leider nicht aus, um den Clan zu festigen und attraktiv (auch f?r neue Mitglieder) zu machen.

Wir machen unsere H?hle gem?tlich
Wenden wir uns kurz wieder den Gemeinsamkeiten von Clans zu. Und da wird es tricky. Ohne ausreichende Anzahl an Mitgliedern hat man kein Geld, ohne Geld muss man entweder Spieleserver und *de-Domain (inklusive Webspace) vorfinanzieren ? oder sich mit Notl?sungen begn?gen. In dem Fall muss man sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass die Konkurrenz an um Mitglieder buhlenden Clans gro? ist.

W?hrend man mit einer ?vu?, ?nr? oder ?tt?-Domain notfalls noch leben kann - wenn die Homepage halbwegs gut ist - wird es beim Spieleserver schon komplizierter.
Hier ist der selbstgehostete Server auf dem Heim-PC wirklich nur die absolute Notl?sung, die aller schnellstens durch einen ?richtigen? Gameserver abgel?st werden sollte.

Kommen wir zur?ck zur Visitenkarte eines jeden Clans ? der Homepage. Sie ist das Aush?ngeschild und gerade beim Erstkontakt ausschlaggebend. Wer einmal in den Clansuche-Foren die jeweiligen HPs anklickt, wird bis auf graduelle Farbunterschiede immer wieder auf die gleichen Templates blicken. Das macht deutlich, dass zu einem guten Clan nicht nur gute Spieler geh?ren. Sondern auch Leute, die sich um die HP-Gestaltung k?mmern, um die Grafiken etc. Und das m?ssen noch nicht einmal Clanmates sein. Es gibt genug engagierte Menschen, die so etwas als Auftragsarbeit (ja, auch ohne Bezahlung) machen. Auch das Forum sollte ? zumindest farblich & im Schriftstil ? zu der Homepage passen.

Da seltsamerweise Schreiberlinge schwieriger zu finden sind als Zocker, hat man gerade in der Gr?ndungsphase nicht nur keinen, der News und Artikel f?r die HP schreibt, nein, man hat auch keine Themen.
Was nicht so ganz nachvollziehbar ist, denn notfalls kann man News von anderen Portalen 1:1 ?bernehmen ? WENN man die Quelle angibt. Man kann sie nat?rlich auch weglassen ? aber wer schon bei den News ?bescheisst?, muss sich nicht wundern, wenn er auch sonst nicht f?r voll genommen wird.

Wichtig ist nat?rlich auch beim Aush?ngeschild, dass man dort auf richtige Rechtschreibung und Grammatik trifft, auch die Ausdrucksform sollte derart sein, dass man die Seite auch seinen Eltern zeigen kann ? ohne sich daf?r zu sch?men.
Auch Flash-Intros sind nicht das, was der geneigte Besucher vorfinden will, selbiges gilt f?r unn?tig komplizierte Menuf?hrungen, nicht lesbare Schriften etc.

Man muss nichts von dem selber k?nnen. Auch Rechtschreibschw?chen sind nicht schlimm ? aber dann besorge ich mir Korrekturleser. Denn sowohl der Clan als auch der Leader werden nach dem Eindruck der HP bewertet ? etwas anderes gibt es n?mlich erst einmal nicht. Diese ?Billig-Domains? kann man ?bersehen, wenn der Eindruck der HP trotzdem ein guter ist.

Im n?chsten Teil werden wir uns mit konkreten L?sungsans?tzen besch?ftigen, einen Blick darauf werfen, was man alles spielerisch und nebenbei erlernt sowie uns den einzelnen Aufgabenfeldern eines Clans zuwenden.
